Trusting God

Today, my mom is having a tumor removed from her brain. I'm glad that there is a prayer network that is praying right now as we wait. It's hard to wait.  It's much easier to go through this because I feel the results of the prayers of my church and friends. I am extremely calm and do not fear the future. I am trusting that God has this regardless of the outcome. My mom is so tired of the fight against cancer. She expressed this on the phone Mondy. She has been so strong through the entire fight. I am so glad I got to be here to be with her before the surgery and now waiting.

I was reminded this morning of how awesome God's will is. Romans 12:2 says that God's will is good, pleasing and perfect. I like this because I don't know what is the best thing. I rarely can see what's best concerning the future when it's outside of right and wrong as defined by the Word. Since God's will is good, pleasing and perfect, I will wait with confidence in God sovereignty. He has this one way or another.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
