In Colossians one there is a list of things to pray for people you love. I remembering praying this for Karen soon after I was saved. A Christian co-worked named Theo showed me this list. That was back in 1990 and I have prayed it for many people over the years. Hear is the list of prayer needs that we all have:
- Spiritual wisdom - This is a wisdom or spiritual discernment to know God's will for our lives.
- To live a life pleasing to the Lord
- As we serve Christ we bear spiritual fruit
- To grow in the knowledge of God
- That we will be strengthened by the Lord to have:
- endurance
- patience
- joy
- and thankfulness
