Day 12

Mark 4-6

In Bible study this morning I spoke about revival and a few key ingredients for it. For revival to happen in your life, you must hear the Word and do something about what God convicts you to do. The Holy Spirit is a given here. No real change has ever happened apart from the work of the Holy Spirit. In today's reading we can see these same ingredients. Jesus said this in Mark 4:12:
they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!

We are chasing99 to change our lives and the lives of others. Do you want revival in your life? Do you want to see others changed? Then, we must hear, understand and do something. When God convicts you of something, turn the right way and allow Him to change you. It will make a world of difference or it could even make a difference in the world.

  1. to reiterate what you said this morning...no one can read the Word of God consistently and not be changed. Hope that I can make a difference in the world this week.

  2. It's amazing to think that New England saw 2 revivals happen in the last 300 years. Now, New England is far away from experiencing revival because we stopped listening to the Word of God. I wonder...are WE going to be the next generation that humbly submits to the Word and hopefully sees revival?
