In Luke 18:1-8 Jesus uses a parable to encourage the disciple to pray and never give up. When you think about it, it's amazing that God allows us to access Him through prayer any time of the day and anywhere we go. It's never too late or early and we are never too far away to connect with God. Wow what a privilege we have through prayer.
This semester at the college we are experiencing an attitude of prayer by students, faculty and staff. Prayer is the least consistent spiritual discipline exercised by most Christian. Yet, it is the most powerful tool a Christian has availible to himself. There were about 60 students that prayed for 24 hours straight and the results are amazing. In James 5:16 it says that the persisent prayer of people that are right with God are effective. This should give us great hope. Not that we will be given everything that we so desire based on our lusts, but that God will give us everything that we need. How is your prayer life?
