Matthew 22-24
We start a new teaching series tonight titled "One Month to Live". This past week we read through Matthew's perspective on Jesus' life and the remainder of the book deals with His final days. Look, as you read the rest of Matthew, at how Jesus made the most of every moment in His final days here on earth. No time was wasted as He meticulously prepared the disciples for ministry without Him.
Everyday we have in life is purposeful in God's economy. We must do our best to live our lives as if the end is near. Is today my last day to live this life? I hope not but I plan on it. Well, I hope I really live with that in mind. Whether or not we know when the end of our life is, we must understand and live as if we are nearly out of time. We must do all that we need to do now and not put off on tomorrow what can be done today.
